                                      How does mass work?

                                      When an electrical circuit operates via direct current, or by battery in the case of vehicles, the cable coming from the Negative terminal is often connected directly to the chassis. This is done to make it possible to connect the ground to any device connected to the structure in order to ensure equipotentiality between these different devices.

                                      When is the “ground braid” used?

                                      The ground braid is most often used to connect two parts requiring electrical voltage in a vehicle, but one of the two parts is not in direct contact with the chassis. Thus, thanks to the ground braid, the device not connected to the chassis can still be part of the circuit, because the ground braid provides this connection with the rest of the assembly touching the metal carcass of the vehicle.

                                      In this category, you can choose from the different models of mass braids that we offer. You will find round or flat ground braids depending on your needs.

                                      You will also have the choice between braids of all types according to:

                                       

                                      - The section (6/10/16/25/30/40/50 mm²).

                                      - The length between the axes (ranging from 100 to 300 mm).

                                      - The length of tracks (15/22/30).

                                      - The width of the ranges (13/17/20/26/32).

                                      - The diameter of the holes (6.5/8.5/10.5 mm).

                                       

                                      In most cases, round ground braids prove to be particularly effective thanks to their flexibility, regardless of the angle to be considered.

                                      After cutting a braid, the latter will be either:

                                      - equipped with a press-crimped end piece then punched.

                                      - Equipped with crimped terminals.
