LED rear lights Truck, Semi-trailer & heavy goods vehicle
LED taillights
Essential accessories for motorists, the rear lights are equipped with an LED light emission system. Its use, necessary in the event of a maneuver, is regulated by law.
How do truck taillights work?
The reversing lights are used when you perform any maneuver or even simply reverse. Activated by a specific device from the vehicle controls, they produce a slightly bright or more intense effect depending on the nature of the headlight. In all cases, their function is to alert other drivers of your presence in one way or another. With a dark light, this headlight is not likely to disturb the driving of others. A single tail light is found on most older model cars while newer vehicles have more than one light.
What are the rear lights of semi-trailers and trucks used for?
In addition to demonstrating presence, headlights provide more functions for trucks, semi-trailers and other heavy goods vehicles. Mainly, they provide information on:
- The height of the vehicle
- The width of the vehicle
- The intention of retreat
Lights intended to display width are generally located in the center of the vehicle horizontally. Depending on the category, a gap of 150 mm to 300 mm must be respected between each light. The reversing lights are white unlike other headlights which are red.
What are the types of tail lights?
The use of certain accessories is mandatory. There are a good handful of them, among others:
- the direction indicator
- the position light
- the brake light
- the reversing light
- the fog light
- license plate lighting
- the parking light
- the clearance light
- high visibility marking
