- sleeves consisting of 3 tin rings covered with a thermoretric insulation (Retraint 3: 1) allowing a perfect connection of the electrical cables.
- resistant to corrosion (the welding ensuring the connection prevents the strands of copper to oxidize).
- Ensures better connection so increases electrical conductibility (no risk of destruction of drivers because of too strong crimping).
- Best resistance to vibrations.
- Abstraction of around 50 kilos (compared to 20 kilos with served connections).
- The thermorettable part provides a seal of the electrical connection.
- 4 references cover most of the automotive market: see table below.
Implementation:
- Choose the appropriate sleeve to the cables to be connected. - Strong the wires over approximately 9 mm.
- Slide the sleeve on one of the 2 wires. - Mix the copper strands of the 2 sons.
- Arrange the sleeve so that the central ring is in the middle of the connection.
- Heat the center sleeve first to the outside, then concentrate the heat at the tin to the fusion of it.
- Let cool slowly for a perfect connection.
Attention:
- Do not overheat or use flame.
- Fusion temperature: 140 ° C minimum - use a hot air generator.
- Service temperature: -55 ° C to +125 ° C.
