                What is a heat-sealable and heat-shrinkable sleeve

                The heat-weldable and heat-shrinkable sleeve is a sleeve that differs from a normal sleeve due to its material and its components. If traditional sleeves are made of metal and crimped, heat-weldable and heat-shrinkable sleeves come in cylindrical form made from special plastic elements. However, they are made up of a metallic component to improve the conductivity of electricity (new generation sleeves). This component is generally a tin ring, there are also two other rings guaranteeing the tightness of the connection. To fix the wires together, you need to heat the sleeve. Heating the sheaths ensures that the wires are held in place and the electricity passes through correctly.

                Operation of the heat-sealable and heat-shrinkable sleeve

                The operation of the heat-sealable and heat-shrinkable sleeve is quite simple. However, you must equip yourself with special tools. Pliers to strip your wires and a device to heat the sheath like a heat gun. You will first need to strip your wires to the correct length. Once the wires are stripped, you can twist them for more grip. Insert the wires to be connected inside the sleeve then heat the plastic sheath. The sheath will then retract on itself, the middle tin ring will also melt and completely weld the wires for better conduction of electricity. Pull on the wire with the sleeve cooled to ensure the wires are holding properly. Please note, this action is irreversible; it will be difficult to disconnect the sleeve except by cutting it.
